Technology

The Centre brings together academic institutions and their state-of the art infrastructure with industry research partners.

Monash Fragment Platform

The Monash Fragment Platform (MFP) provides academic and commercial researchers with access to fragment-based drug discovery (FBDD) technologies for their therapeutic targets. The facilities are located at the Monash Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) in Parkville.

FBDD screening uses our high-quality, in-house fragment library designed to maximise chemical space coverage and enable rapid hit optimisation. Screening cascades are tailored for each target and performed using a variety of techniques including NMR spectroscopy and surface plasmon resonance (SPR).

Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery

Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery (GRIDD) is located in two adjacent buildings housing biology and chemistry laboratories on the Nathan campus of Griffith University in Brisbane.

They have a number of unique resources, including Compounds Australia and the Mass Spectrometry Screening Platform.

Drug Discovery Initiative

The University of Sydney Drug Discovery Initiative is a dynamic and interdisciplinary network that brings together the best people, technologies and tools to enable early stage drug discovery research.

Drug Discovery at Sydney Analytical provides specialist support for early-stage drug discovery. This includes capabilities in protein production and characterisation, protein X-ray crystallography and fragment-based drug discovery.
