Stefan Nebl completed his PhD within the Centre for Fragment-Based Design. For Stefan being a member of the CFBD means having access to experts who have a deep knowledge about a wide range of scientific techniques.

“I have always been curious about the natural world and passionate about scientific research. Doing a PhD allows me to explore that curiosity in a way that also has a positive practical outcome,” he says.

Research Overview

Stefan’s PhD project focuses on using solution NMR for structural and dynamic characterization of bacterial enzymes. In the future, Stefan plans to continue on the academic research pathway, specializing in NMR.

Education

Completing both his Undergraduate and Honors in Pharmaceutical Science at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (MIPS), Stefan is now undertaking his PhD.
