Yildiz Tasdan

Yildiz Tasdan is a current PhD candidate within the Centre for Fragment-Based Design (CFBD).

Research Overview

Her research project is on Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry and is looking at the design and development of novel DsbA inhibitors.

“I am excited about everything that the Center has to offer, especially my industry placement,” Yildiz says.

Education

Graduating from Istanbul University with a Master of Sciences of Pharmacy in 2017, which included two projects at Barcelona and Durham Universities and a final year research project, Yildiz went on to complete her Masters in Organic Chemistry at the National University of Singapore. She started her PhD in the Centre in 2020.
